Description:
Founded by the Methodist Missionaries on 1 march 1886, the first Anglo-Chinese School was located in a small shophouse along Amoy Street but soon relocated to Canning Rise. In the 1900s, the original building was replaced with the present building, which the National Archives of Singapore took over for its offices in 1997.
